Instead of waking up to baskets of fun and chocolate for breakfast, the kids woke up to an explanation of why theyd been skipped over this year.

I am writing you this letter to let you know that this year you are on my ‘Naughty List’ and I am not bringing you any Easter eggs or gifts because I have been watching carefully and you have been very naughty, the letter begins. I have rung Santa and told him to keep a close eye out to see if your behavior improves then you still have time to make his good list.

Elizabeth posted a picture of the note on a community board on with the caption, “Please tell me Im not the only parent who has done this to their kids,” and let’s just say, the room was divided.
But a majority of people weren’t fans.
